Approach
My approach to wedding photography is simple: to honestly photograph your friends and family in a way that feels true, so twenty years from now your photos reflect your wedding day as it really was and help you remember both the big and small moments. In many ways, I’m photographing for the future as much as the present.
I’m mostly hands-off, gathering real moments as they unfold, while offering light guidance during portraits so you feel comfortable and fully yourself. No two weddings are the same, and that’s what keeps me inspired. I’m drawn to the history, tradition, and love each couple brings, creating photographs that feel deeply personal and entirely their own.
My work is rooted in presence over perfection. A photographer I admire once said, “Instead of trying to get every beat, just get the heartbeats,” and that philosophy shapes the way I work, leaving space for meaningful moments to happen naturally.
Based in Grand Rapids, you’ll usually find me chasing after my two-year-old son with my husband close by. In quieter moments, I love quilting, a craft passed down by my mom and grandmother. Becoming a parent has deepened my appreciation for how fleeting time is and how powerful photographs can be in helping us remember it. I’m endlessly grateful to document love stories and create heirlooms meant to last for generations.

Each delivered gallery is attached to a print shop with a large variety of printing products, including loose and framed prints, calendars, cards, etc.
Shooting Medium
I use both digital and film cameras on wedding days. To me, cameras are a tool and I am going to use the tool that makes the most sense and gives the best image. I am drawn to the colors, surprise and nostalgia that film gives us. I am more likely to use film in the slower moments. The portraits, the morning getting ready and any other times where there is space to breathe. Digital is often used for your ceremony, family portraits and dance coverage. I use both black and white and color film. If you’d like to see what a full gallery looks like I am happy to share.
Travel Information
Travel fees are based on the time of year and location of your event. They are custom priced and will be shown when sending your estimate to you. Michigan pricing can be seen below - custom quotes will be made for states outside of Michigan.
Turnaround time
Full gallery delivery will happen within 8-10 weeks. The film that I shoot has to be mailed to a lab, processed and scanned and then sent back. Each photograph is edited and this process takes time. I always try to deliver some digital previews within the first two weeks of your wedding - but my hope is that you know the best is coming.
Image delivery
On average I would say that I deliver roughly 100 images per hour. These numbers can fluctuate based on the size and format of your event and how many elements are involved. All images are delivered at full resolution on a private online gallery that is attached to a print shop with printing rights.
Gallery & Wedding Albums
Each delivered gallery is attached to a print shop with a large variety of printing products, including loose and framed prints, calendars, cards, etc. I also offer three options for albums at three different price points. Those can be designed by yourself within the gallery or if you’d like me to design please reach out for those prices.
Back-up gear
I always travel with backup gear. This includes multiple camera setups and lenses, should anything happen. My digital gear contains two card slots to protect your images and I do not delete images off the cards until they are delivered. I have a pretty intense backup system at home.
Insurance information
I carry a one million dollar liability policy and can ask my agent to send over proof of insurance to any venue requiring one.
Payment
The $2000 deposit is due upon booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to the event. I accept check, cash, zelle and ACH transfer without any additional fees but should you pay with a credit card there is a 3% service fee. My zelle account is mooreabb@gmail.com I recommend sending $1 first and waiting until I confirm.

I highly recommend that you look at full galleries of any photographer you are considering. It’s important to get an all around picture of the product you will be getting.
