I’ve been waiting SO long to post these images. There is currently a monsoon happening outside, and when I have to let my dog out to relieve himself I have to bundle up in pants, rain boots AND JACKETS. I love fall, but boy do I miss being able to run around in a t shirt and shorts. These pictures were one of my last “summery” engagement sessions and ahhh do I love the people in them. Like, I want to be friends with them and visit them every time I’m in Milwaukee … hope that’s okay guys?
Nate and Courtney are one of those couples were, put simply, made to be together. They are the equivalent of a couple who are truly best friends. And that is the best pairing. They laugh together, they have fun together and they take care of one absolutely crazy (and wonderful) pup. And that’s in addition to spending some quality time with Nate’s son, Skylar … who you saw here this spring.
These photos were taken in the backyard of their first home together … and I love doing this because I really feel like it captures that one moment in time … when they lived here … with their fiance … in this house. Courtney and Nate, thanks for being patient … I love you guys and cannot wait for your wedding. xo
