Jackie + Adam // WEDDING

Remember these guys? Well they got hitched earlier this month and it. was. perfect. Jackie and Adam’s wedding was my ONLY Grand Haven wedding this summer and boy does it make me want to shoot more of these. If you don’t know already, I absolutely love my hometown. I love the beach, I love the downtown, I love the people, I love EVERYTHING about it, really. Especially in the summer. These pictures are so special to me, and hopefully to J+A as well, because of how much they remind me of my time in this city. From their name on the Grand Theatre (which, shout-out to maid of honor for going in there and making this happen — you rock) to pictures in front of the Coast Guard City USA sign, this day could not make me any happier.

Thank you so much to you, Jackie and Adam, for letting me be a PART of this day. For giving me full photographic freedom and treating me like a friend and a guest rather than just someone you hired. Thanks for letting me stand you in front of a warehouse of boats and not thinking it’s weird. And for just trusting (and probably crossing your fingers) that these pictures would turn out. It’s because of that, that I am insanely in love with my job, and think that these two are the greatest.

Isn’t she beautiful!?!?!I think I said “be excited!” and the boys are all doing jazz hands? Can someone explain that one to me?THERE’S EVEN A BOAT UNDER THEIR ARMS. So very Grand Haven of them.Go Molly go!Please notice the men’s drinks.I think that this was during Cody’s rendition of “Call Me Maybe”The stars of the dance floor.Jake – these pictures are payback for eating my photobooth prop.;)
